Shiyi founded Oats & Rice in 2015 after studying at Winchester School of Art. She trained in Japan, learning kasuri (ikat) weaving and shifu (paper weaving). Her journey later led her to Inner Mongolia, where she developed the company’s sustainable cashmere supply chain.
